Well for the 2nd year, 3 days just wasn’t enough to take in
all that is Dodger Spring training.
Maybe it’s the 4 month time off, but I
could sit and watch The Blue hit BP, run through their drills etc. all day
long, every day. It just never gets boring. And that’s what Camelback Ranch is all about.
Let the FAN get a relaxing, up close view of pre-season baseball. We get to
eavesdrop on conversations, some about baseball, some otherwise…..but all
Big Bad John
Donnie explaining “the catch”
Senor Mota…surveying the scene on his ever present bike.
The Beard-Less One….
Your REALLY going to Taiwan????
Raffy squaring up. I REALLY hope he does more of this in 2010. Just set the table, plenty of bats to bring him in.
Dre! We watched him hit BOMBS all batting practice…every batting practice. The kid is ready NOW for Opening Day.( Matt Kemp? Not so much…)
Kuo thru gas every time we saw him. Not good to hear days later of his elbow soreness. Lets hope it isn’t serious.
Gordo Manteca…Sorry Tommy, I’m not a fan.
Imparting some baseball wisdom, hopefully. Not just hot air.
Mariano Duncan. The Latina MILF’s were all over him. One came down the aisle and asked if he could sign her breast. The old usher was speechless.Funny as hell.
Good to see Gagne back in Dodger Blue! You just can’t help rooting for the guy. he was in MY opinion, the most exciting Dodger player to watch since Fernando. But he’s a shadow of his former self at this point.
But unless someone can straighten out his delivery, he can find a major league fastball, and can tune up his control….Game Over?
Speaking of Gagne, Padilla looked pretty good for this point in the ST. He was working on a ” Gagne-like” change up that was wicked! Cartoonish slow. Bugs Bunny slow. Was pretty fun to watch. 59 mph tops.
All in all, it was a great trip. Oh th
e weather was lousy ( cold, rainy, windy, etc…) , but I don’t need warm weather and sunny skies to tell me when it’s spring time.
Just Dodger Baseball.
